Getting started: The first eight steps
by Rob Sandelin, Sharingwood Cohousing
The first steps in creating a new cohousing community don’t need to be abstract, circular or ambiguous.
These are some of the elements to consider working on in the first months you spend together. This assumes you have brought together a core group of at least two or three households. Three or four households is even better.
I think it would be great if we could get everyone to post a comment on this answering the question of "what you hope to achieve as a group." We may be very surprised. As a second question, I would ask again, the question we started to answer at the intro meeting. "What would you hope to get out of a co-housing arrangement?"
